What to Wear to a Boudoir Session

One of the most common comments I get from people hoping to book a boudoir session is “I don’t know what to wear. I don’t have anything that would look right in a boudoir shoot.” To help with that, I’d like to show 5 different outfit options you can wear during your shoot. You don’t have to have extravagant lingerie to rock your session. You will walk out feeling like a bombshell regardless, I promise.

1. Favorite Top & Panty

This option provides more coverage while giving you the chance to throw in some of your own personal touches to the session. You can use your favorite band t-shirt, a sports jersey, or just your favorite sweater. You can even add some fishnets for a fun contrast!

2. Bodysuit

This option is one of the most popular choices. A bodysuit comes in plenty of sizes ranging in different levels of coverage and support. These are sassy, but are good for anyone that prefers a little more coverage. Bodysuits are my #1 recommendation for clients who have no idea what they want to wear for their session.

3. Bra & Panty Suit

A classic that comes in so many variations! This option gives you plenty of freedom to find something that fits your personality: there are sets made of lace or velvet, and some have strappy details or cut outs. This is the second most popular choice among my clients.

4. Three-Piece Set

Similar to the bra and panty set, but provides a little more coverage. This one adds extra details and layers and can help provide some extra shape to your silhouette. Many garters also give the added benefit of the straps that outline the booty in a very flattering way.

5. Nude

Saved the best (or scariest) for last! If you’re comfortable with it, the nude shoots have been some of the most freeing and empowering for my clients. Always be aware that consent is key and i will never make you do anything you are uncomfortable with.

Any of these options can be combined with any amount of accessories: a coverup, cuffs, heels, etc. We discuss all your options at your consultation and i help you decide on what fits best with your vision for your session.
