Sometimes treating yourself to an experience you’ve really wanted is an act of defiance. This “year of self-love” photoshoot is a perfect example of standing up for the things you deserve, especially when others have tried to make you feel smaller, take up less room, or fit into the box they’ve made for you.

The minute I heard from this client, I knew Radical Babe Studios was going to be the right fit for the experience she was looking for. Our intake form asks, “What made you want to have a boudoir session?” She wrote:

“I've been wanting to book one for ages! For myself first, and as a spicy gift second (though now it's just a gift for ME)! After some serious trauma in my personal life over the past year-plus, I'm finally starting to reclaim ME and think the experience (and resulting shots!) of a boudoir shoot could be an incredible part of this liberating chapter in my life.

“I am planning out a whole year of indulgences and adventures, so I'm really hoping I can book a shoot with you sometime in September, if at all possible! It's my birthday month and I want to do it as a gift to myself then.”

BABE. YES. We f’ing LOVE an empowering, self-love session! As a Fort Wayne boudoir photographer, I respect the multitude of occasions and reasons folks want to indulge in a boudoir session. But it’s gotta be about YOU babe, first and foremost!

This year of self-love photoshoot was a blast. Our client rocked the heck out of several gorgeous lingerie sets (gotta love the black strappy set from Lounge), and embraced every minute of the experience!
